Most of Trump's tweets are totally idiotic, but this one was funny. And it worked. CNN is having a hissy fit.

Trump as president is what America deserves. He is like the manifestation of the true underbelly that actually makes up 75% of this country, basically the giant pink river of slime from ghostbusters 2.

Injured Bald Eagle Found In Nation's Capital

Just in time for the Fourth of July, animal rescue workers came to the aid of the national bird — a wounded bald eagle — on the streets of Washington, D.C. on Saturday.

The eagle was unable to fly, seemed lethargic and had labored breathing, the Humane Rescue Alliance posted to Facebook. The cause of the eagle's injury is unclear.

Matt Williams is with the group and wrote NPR in an email that the bird's condition appears to be stable and its prognosis "guarded," meaning it may recover but with lasting complications.

The eagle was spotted in a developed area near a recreational center and an apartment complex in southeast D.C.

It is recovering at City Wildlife, a rescue and rehabilitation center in the nation's capital.

I had the same sad thought when I read that piece.

On further reflection, why are we wasting resources trying to heal that bird? I mean, obviously it did something careless or irresponsible and deserves its fate. Let the "market " of nature sort it out. If it can't figure out how to survive, so be it. Please just hand over to the wealthy whatever money is being spent on such frivolous bleeding-heart silliness.
