I'm sure that Ratliffe loved being left out to dry. Trump has no loyalty to anyone or anything except himself. No wonder that he can't get any top flight talent to work for him (not that Ratliffe was top flight in any way), and is stuck hiring dregs, incompetents, and crazies. He probably prefers it that way, as he's so insecure that hiring an outstanding person to work for him would make him jealous. "Why is everybody praising this person so much? They work for me - I should be getting all of the attention!"

I love how Trump's handlers tried to position the handful of minorities in the crowd right behind him, to make it look as if he has substantial minority support. And, no doubt his white supporters see that and think, "see, look at all those black and brown folks in that crowd! He can't possibly be a racist with that kind of support!"
