I've just come to the conclusion that there are millions of people who simply love Trump and everything he represents, but also know full well that openly admitting that's why they're supporting him will lead to disapproval from relatives, friends, coworkers, etc. So they look for any reason they can to justify voting for him. They would have found a flaw in any Democratic nominee that would give them an excuse to vote for Trump. In the case of Biden it will be "he's too old, he'll probably die in office if he's elected, he can't remember things and stumbles in his debates, which shows that he's already senile, etc." I'm already seeing it on facebook from conservatives. As if Trump doesn't also stumble, forget things, slur his words, constantly lie about everything, and all the rest in public. But that will be their excuse to other people - Biden is senile and too old to be POTUS, so they've really got no choice but to back Trump again. If the Dem nominee is Bernie the excuse will be that he's a commie-loving, anti-American socialist, if it had been Warren it would be the whole "Pocahontas" thing plus socialism and raising taxes (and she's a woman!), if it was Buttigieg it would have been that he's too young and inexperienced (and he's gay!), and so on.

Remember his supporters don't watch or believe anything but fox and Breitbart etc. They never see his stumbles and bumbles. Fox keeps the halo intact.
