Well the Saudi's just threw the world in chaos by dropping the price of oil by 30% in a day in a price war with Russia, who wouldn't agree to curb production. Now all american drillers are fucked, as it costs us $50/gallon for fracking, and now the price of oil is at $30. So the banks that have lent these companies money are going to lose a good amount, and there's your banking crisis.

Surely the Saudis wouldn't do that to their good friends the Trumps! Not known for his consistency, Trump has consistently defended the Saudis as POTUS and has tried to block congressional oversight into arms sales and other deals with the Saudi government. Trump is just a sucker for authoritarian regimes.

Cheap oil won’t drive alternative sources.

But if SA succeeds, eventually they’ll get their higher prices and that will.

Also, turnout was up for the Dem primary in Michigan. (Which may just be crossover voters since the Republican primary isn't competitive, but is still enough to get Don caught in his feelings.)
