People please, stop mistreating Trump

 
It's true. Democrats only care about political power. That's why they've just been dominating the hill lately. So many victories...
 
So in the same campaign rally, Don, Jr. makes fun of Biden's cure cancer comment, and the crowd laughs and snorts in derision. Later in the same rally, President Trump says that if he's reelected a cure for cancer will be found, and the crowd roars with approval. It's not just that they no longer care about facts or truth, they don't expect coherency or consistency, or even their leaders making sense. It's totally tribal now - if your guy says it, you cheer and applaud, if the other guy (or, shudder, a woman) says the exact same thing, you boo and and laugh at it. Gawd.

That’s why we can’t worry about Trump’s 40% of core supporters. They’re too far gone. Worry about consolidating everyone else against the Republicans.

I saw a poll that said 50% of Americans believe Trump coordinated with the Russians. 44% don’t. Take out Trump’s rock solid core 40% and that poll says less than 7% outside of the core believes Trump coordinated with the Russians compared to 83% who believe he did. That’s strong support for impeachment. Democrats need to stop listening to that 40%.

LOL at the notion that Trump will present any new proposals or themes or ideas for 2020. He has none, and never has. The guy's an entertainer, not a legit political leader. His campaign through November 2020 will be little more than a repeat of his 2016 one, with pretty much the same themes, slogans, insults (to mostly the same people), threats, boasts, pet nicknames for his opponents, outright lies and fabrications, and whatever else he talked about or did in 2016. In his mind his traveling road show/quack medicine man act worked once, so why try anything new or different? His cult doesn't give a shit what he says or does or proposes - they're going to cheer him and boo and hiss at his opponents and vote for him no matter what, so why change?
