Steve Bannon Kicked Out of Government & Indicted for Fraud

Breitbart's war on McMaster bites Bannon

In June, Trump started telling aides that he suspected that Bannon was a source of negative stories, according to aides. After a slew of stories about Bannon “winning” policy wars in the White House—like Trump’s decision to pull out of the Paris climate accord—the president told Bannon to “knock it off,” according to the senior administration official.

Priebus at one point also warned Bannon. “You’ve got to get people to stop writing this shit, because people know it’s you,” the senior administration official said.

Bannon was cut out of meetings on tax reform in July, after his proposal to raise taxes on the wealthy appeared in the press, and again when his idea to hire contractors in Afghanistan rather than expanding troop levels got publicity—just as McMaster was pushing for a mini-surge in the region.

Bannon is a leaker!!

I think that's the one that was posted here before. That's a huge grey area.

There's nothing illegal about gold farming, but to gaming companies and real gamers, it's unquestionably wrong/cheating/immoral. I guess if you mix the two, that's where you get grey.

Yeah. From what I know about it, it seems the burden is on the gaming companies to institute and maintain fairness, knowing that people will try to work out it. Or just adopt a freemium model and keep the cash yourself.

Question to the Bannon haters: Do you think he's wrong about China?

In the past, he's said that we're destined to go to war with China. I don't believe we're "destined" to do anything and fighting a major war with China would be a disaster.

Fair enough, and using that quote that's more than I was going for with that question. How about his take in the article referenced.

I agree with him that there is no military solution in North Korea and we should not make policy on China based on the hope that they will help us with North Korea. I don't know what the outcome of a trade war with China would be and don't trust his motives in wanting to start one. Seems like a huge gamble to me.

I think his motives are clear. He thinks the fact they pay their people $2/day puts our dumbasses outta work, then those dumbasses end up finding some minority to blame and goes out with a bang in taking one out. Once those dumbasses get a job then we can really #MakeAmericaGreatAgain. To his credit he equally wants to blow up wall street and the "swamp", and I believe him more than any other political figure I can think of in recent memory.

It seems to me Bannon is an economic nationalist (He also doesn't like islam, but who does. For all the "just note there were millions of people silently cheering on Charlottesville", there are just as many folks who want to uphold the constitution that would be perfectly happy if Muslims just went away). Most of my trolling on the subject (or many subjects) is that people are taking the leap that "economic protectionist" means "nazi"

I just don't like when people call someone a nazi when they have a different take than the generally accepted one. It seems mostly to be done for effect, and I'd expect people here on the boards to be able to handle a little nuance. I've been disappointed with the lack of nuance since I ventured to the tunnels, hence the trolling, as there's certainly enough people to express the liberal viewpoint on here.

Overall I disagree with pretty much every conservative opinion and may even be best described as a socialist as to my actual views. I mainly enjoy the conservatives on here as they challenge and make me question my beliefs on topics.

At the same time, my taxes seem high as shit.

LOL

You made a point I've never seen anybody make. It's so silly that the only reaction is to laugh.

People call Bannon a Nazi because of what Breitbart published under his watch.

Here's a National Review article that recaps Bannon's "alt-right" connections: http://www.nationalreview.com/artic...non-white-house-no-place-alt-right-apologists

My first interaction or even knowing who Steve Bannon was on these boards. It was you or RJKarl calling him a Nazi because Breitbart ran an article called "Bill Kristol: Renegade Jew"

It was a sexy headline, and fit exactly what you people who only care about scoring political points could point to in order to label Steve Bannon a racist. Then I actually read the article and it was written by a Jewish guy and the point of the article was that Bill Kristol wasn't respresenting Jews well. I.E., he wasn't Jewish enough.

Then I learned Andrew Breitbart was a jew himself.

So obviously me, being a relatively intelligent and unbiased observer thought that point was absurd and just the point made of a political hack so entrenched in his thoughts that he cannot see reason.

I'll click on your link now, lets see if that point is made.

Ok, no mention of that article. Just an opinion piece with no actual information.

What I'm saying is I click on brietbart and I realize what it is, right wing trash.

I click on CNN and it increasingly comes off as left-wing trash. You don't. That scares me, since I view you and most people on these boards as being bright.

I really don't care if you believe it or not. Your idea that anybody thinks "economic protectionism" = "Nazi" is hilarious.
