Yes, and Walmart today has announced some of their prices will be rising as a result of . And I just took a quick look, and Fox isn't covering that story (neither is HuffPo for that matter). So if Fox isn't reporting it, will people realize it?
 
This fat idiot is used to winging everything and it pretty much working out (except for losing a billion here and there, shuttering failed legit business ventures, couple of marriages) but trade deals with economic superpowers takes, you know, some forethought and planning and sharp skills to overcome or match your opponent/trade partner. Fuckwit
 
All we have to know about Trump's knowledge of trade is that he started a trade war with a country that has 10% of our population and with whom we have a record trade surplus. This is the dumbest any POTUS has ever done regarding trade.

One of the few amusements of this administration has been watching self-proclaimed "principled" conservatives who supposedly believe in free enterprise, free trade, limited government, and states rights shit all over those "principles" and others as they bend over backwards trying to support and justify the actions of this administration. If a LibDem administration official - and especially the Secretary of the Treasury - was caught trying to direct private corporations in their supply system and where they could buy products from to make up for a trade war that they had started, these same conservatives would be screaming to the heavens. Instead, we get crickets. The only principles elected GOPers and Trump's base have now is doing whatever it takes to win elections so they can taunt LibDems on social media. Oh, and abortion and ownin' guns, they've always got that.
 
Isn’t the whole point of the tariffs to prop up dying American industries with protectionist policies?
 
Donald Trump's proposed $15 billion taxpayer-funded handout for farmers being hurt by his trade wars will provide approximately $2 a bushel for soybeans, 63 cents per bushel for wheat, and 4 cents per bushel for corn (the current market prices are $8.32 per bushel for soybeans, $4.65 per bushel for wheat, and $3.90 for corn). He's even a shitty socialist president. I'm sure that all those red-state farmers who voted for him will feel so inspired knowing that their hero cares about them so, so much.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but sometimes you do wonder if either Putin or Trump has pictures of Lindsey Graham doing naughty things with boys and/or men hidden somewhere, just ready for release if he doesn't support Trump in everything, 24/7.
