donald and the gop meeting on US soil with a man that condones and encourages war. Crimes against our allies. At least Moscow mitch and the rubes got their judges.
 
We were the bad guys already. Trump just made it obvious.
 
I think it’s not that simple.

We were always some admixture of good/bad motivations and actions. But I think we’ve been capable of intentional good for others.

Now under Trump our collective efforts are quickly distilling down to whatever is good for us. And us is clarifying into Trump (and fuck anyone and everyone else). It’s true this removes, to the extent (partial generally) it has been relevant, the facade of higher moral ground or nobility of U.S. intent/action.

You forgot that Trump has over 110 investments in Turkey. It was about Trump's bottom line.
