NFL Offseason Thread: 2018 NFL Draft

Wow. Ivory was a more important pick-up than it seemed at the time. That offense already was thin on weapons with McCarron or a rookie taking over at QB. And if they do have to get rid of Shady from a PR perspective, I'm guessing signing Peterson would be a little tone deaf.

man and just when the bills were setup perfectly for another wild card round loss

AND my boi brandon browner bout to go to jail for life

The more actual facts the media begrudgingly acknowledges the better it looks for McCoy. Who knows though.

Well, if the assailant was masked, it could be difficult finding said assailant unless he left some DNA at the scene. And if you can't identify the assailant and get him to testify, you're not going to implicate Shady.

IANAL but I’ve watched my fair share of cop dramas. Seems like given his repeated attempts to evict, his knowledge of her whereabouts, the specific target of expensive jewelry, and what appears to be a very personal robbery (doubt most women get the living shit beat out of them on a standard home invasion) I’m still betting he was involved.

I'm not saying he wasn't involved. I make no value judgment there. I was just commenting that he was masked, which means the victim probably cannot identify his face. If he left no DNA at the scene, or if he left DNA but they can't get a match in their system, then there is a strong chance the cops won't find the direct perpetrator of the crime. Seems to me you need to catch and flip him in order to prosecute Shady. If all you have on Shady are the suspicious circumstances we already know about, I'm not sure if that amounts to a ham sandwich. And if it is a ham sandwich, it's not much more and probably not enough for a prosecutor to go forward.

Not the way I read it at all.

1) he started eviction suit a year ago
2) he told the police when he started the eviction process a year ago that he was extremely worried she would make false domestic violence accusations considering the current NFL landscape
- this also makes it a bit weird the way the friends were tagging every media outlet they possibly could in their social media posts that started this
3) didn’t do anything physical for a year, even when arguments got heated
4) the night before the eviction suit is finally about to be heard and she’s finally about to get kicked out is the night he can’t wait anymore and sends someone to beat her? That’s fucking weird

Tennessee Titans WR Michael Campanaro was impressive during the early part of offseason workouts before he suffered an injury and should have a chance to earn a roster spot during training camp, in the opinion of TitansOnline.com's Jim Wyatt.

Campanaro is a solid return specialist and he can function as a backup to Taywan Taylor in the slot. He doesn't have Taylor's deep speed, but Campanaro is crafty after the catch and he flashes good quickness in his routes - when he is healthy, which hasn't been that often in his NFL career.

"If healthy" has been the mantra of Camps career in the NFL. Great talent. Just can't seem to stay on the field.

Would be a good spot to land -- not a lot of WR competition, and an offense that could get on track with one of the main dudes behind Goff's emergence last year

Did we ever hear about any interest in Wolford? I'd be surprised if he didn't at least get a look.

Just when I thought the Rams might be going places they go and give Brandin Cooks a 5-year, $80M extension.
