NFL Offseason Thread: 2018 NFL Draft

Last year Wolford threw for a higher completion percentage, more TDs (29 to 26) and fewer INTs (6 to 13) than Darnold. I think we should expect Wolford to be the Kirk Cousins to Darnold's RGIII.

Benjamin Watson is the starter now. Cam definitely has a shot.

Yeah, he only has Watson, Josh Hill, Michael Hoomanawanui, Garrett Griffin and undrafted rookie Deon Yelder ahead of him.

The Chargers (Wolford) and Saints (Serigne) start their mini-camps today.

Duke Ejiofor signed his Texans contract yesterday. Contract details were not announced in the media but spotrac.com says its a 4 year / $2.6 million contract. No fully guaranteed money other than a signing bonus of $185,000.

Congrats to Duke.
Nice start.
Now, show 'em what you can do.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out with the NFL and with the semi-related assault weapon (found in his house during search after her 911 call) possession charges.

For just a few more dollars, I'm sure the ex can say that the assault weapon is hers.

The First Amendment doesn’t apply to private employers? It generally doesn’t. But when private employers put their employees to work in a publicly-funded venue, the analysis possibly changes.

NFL players may need to show that local stadium authorities had a role in the rule that requires players to stand for the anthem.

A plausible argument could be made that the close relationship between NFL teams and the publicly-owned stadiums transforms everything about the situation into a public event.

It would be great if publicly bought NFL stadiums the owners blackmailed cities for came back and bit them in the ass.
