John Collins and the draft

JC's summer debut will be on NBA TV at 8PM EDT/5PM PDT.
 
It's weird to see JC not get touches in the half court.
 
Two really nice passes by JC early in first quarter.
 
2 fts, 3 reb, 1 stl in his first 5 minutes before sitting.
 
Not a single fga in the 1st quarter.
 
JC with a three point play, then a steal and a breakaway.

Either JC is still growing or Tyler Cavanaugh is shrinking. I thought Cav was 6'9. JC is a lot taller.

Prince and Demby are trying to make the team rather than playing on a team.

Lonzo Ball's first play- cross court, 30' lob to Ingram for a dunk.
 
That Bembry dude tried to go hero ball down the stretch and produced nothing but zero ball.

Hope Collins doesn't let these guys rub off on him (jacking shots, TOs, fouls.) He played a typical, very efficient game in limited minutes.
Given the minutes he's likely to play this year, he could average double digit rebounds.

I could definitely see Collins averaging around 10/10.
 
Bembry was also the reason they went on that big run to make it close in 4Q.

It's ugly basketball, no doubt.

Collins is fine.

Prince is in line for major PT on the Hawks, he looked good at the end of the year
 
Summer league ball is not usually great for big men. Had the game on while doing other stuff, but don't remember Collins getting the ball in the post once.
