Women's Golf

FSU is the #9 team in the nation. 16 holes played (4 pars, 8 bogeys nd 4 doubles) ouch.

Teams that started on the back 9 are being destroyed. Hopefully we can hold it together after the turn.

Yeah our 1 and 2 technically aren’t the counting scores but Kupcho (playing at the 3) is the best college golfer in the country

I would be very surprised if that +18 wasn't top 8 at the end of the day.

scores are finally in from that one threesome

Texas is in a good position, having navigated most of the back nine at +2

wind is 16 mph in Fayetteville

Texas is about to finish the back nine +3, nobody else has played the back nine better than +10. They should finish way out front today.

everyone here happy for Fitzy's big brother with the 65 today ...

Seems that you can lose a bunch of strokes really fast. Hope our 1 and 2 rally.

Our 2 best golfers played awful so far and we are still playing respectable. Didn't expect that...

Our two best players a combined +11 on the front nine is not going to help. Especially with Bags probably going to blow up on the back 9.

Everybody is struggling. +4 halfway through the round is a good score. +15 would have us top 8 at the end of the day easily. That's the goal. Top 8.

A solid +3 on the front and then a +10 on the back would put us nicely in contention after day one. Just can't have Bags go +10 herself on the back with our second best player completely out of contention to score.

Edited to add that +3 was hopeful as we gave up 4 strokes on the 9th.

13 over will be in the top 2 or 3 I would bet. The front nine might be a little easier, but not much. Look at the course stats. These teams will hemorrage shots on the front as well.

Need for the men's tennis team to work with our other sports team. That team is made up of warriors. Other teams seem to have a problem with the big stage. Hope the girls get it together. It appears the course is a monster. Be interesting to see how the men do

no doubt unusual when +35 gets you through to the next round
