Heppenstell advances to 800MM final

Congrats Hep.
PR and Wake record.
Way to run

Abrahamson 7th in the women's steeple in 9:56. Improved her PR and school record by 4 seconds.

Huge senior year from Abrahamson

she had never placed in an ACC Championship before her senior year, and now she leaves as an All-American. Awesome result.

Heppenstall finished 3rd yesterday at the NCAA indoor championships in the 800m.

Great job Hepp. Enjoyed your runs Friday and Saturday we appreciate you being a Deac!

Looked like he finished last. Still a great showing!

He's had a great career at Wake.
Another NCAA finals. Not bad.

Hepp is a machine. Looks like he will eventually move to the 1500. Has already run a school record 3:41.

In other track news, our former throws coach Zeb Sion, is now at Stanford. His female throwers scored 31 points for Stanford at the NCAA meet this week including 1-2 in the javelin, 3rd in the shot, 3rd in the discus, and 8th in the hammer. Well done Zeb!

Zeb has got to be one of the best throws coaches in the country.
He did great things at Wake and our throwers have declined since he left.
And as you said, he's made a huge and pretty quick impact at Stanford.

Zeb was just named National Assistant Coach of the Year today. Great honor for him.

Heppenstall dominated at the ACC indoor championships yesterday. He's been all-american 6 times (every opportunity). While it's probably not possible to beat the latest Kenyan import, wish him every success in the NCAA.

Wake finished 12th in women, 14th in men. Boston College barely fields a team.
