Perhaps you’ve missed our recent moves. Wouldn’t put it past hurney to over pay for bad clue.

The recent moves have been for cheap value guys. Like Colin Jones for 2 years, $2.6M.

Like Torrey Smith.

From the article you posted:
“While Smith is widely considered an all-around good dude and is still a serviceable wide receiver at 30 years old, this is a questionable decision by the Panthers. They have emphasized getting younger during this offseason and have made moves that support that direction, such as the release of veterans Mike Adams and Captain Munnerlyn. The Panthers also have plenty of younger, cheaper options at wide receiver on the roster, making Smith’s services less of a need than the $5 million in cap space that could be created—and used to fill other holes on the roster—by releasing him.”

Eric Reid deal looks nice after seeing these ridiculous Collins and Mathieu deals

$5M is cheap for a serviceable WR. He’s going to mentor our two promising young WR.

When you look at the Panthers WRs without Torrey Smith on the team you don't feel bad about keeping Torrey Smith.

why the fuck is hurney our gm again. is it a thing for wake/panther fans. put people in positions that are im way over their head? its not fuckin fun anymore

[h=1]What if Matt Kalil, Ross Cockrell, and Da’Norris Searcy are healthy...and good?[/h]

[h=2]Can some of 2018’s roster gaps be filled by guys already on the Panthers roster?[/h]https://www.catscratchreader.com/2019/3/11/18259461/what-if-matt-kalil-ross-cockrell-and-danorris-searcy-are-healthy-and-good

What if my uncle didn't have balls, would he be my aunt?

There's no way Matt Kalil is healthy or good.

safety galore in free agency...desperate need for panthers for YEARS. will be ignored, again. will be fun watching out secondary get torched all season again

TD to the Chargers.

yeah, plenty of worst places he coulda gone. and he gets to play in a nice climate. now he can hang out with Gurley on his downtime.

That seems like a great move from Hurney and the Panthers

Looks like a good price for a veteran C. Frees up the possibility of drafting a late round C in the next few drafts and bringing him along. Of course, we haven't drafted an OL in the 5-7 rounds since 2011.
