College basketball bribery scandal

Someone will hang a banner.

The NCAA and college basketball at the highest levels is completely corrupt. Despite the FBI evidence of cheating at Kansas and NCAA notice of violations including lack of institutional control, Self gets a lifetime contract.

[Self had been linked with a potential move to the NBA for the past few years, especially after the FBI investigation into college basketball that included alleged payments from Adidas to a pair of former Kansas players. The NCAA ultimately charged Kansas with five Level I violations, including charging the school with a lack of institutional control and Self with head coach responsibility violations. There have been no punishments handed down yet.QUOTE]

And Will Wade at LSU was coaching in the NCAA tournament despite just refusing to comply with LSU's investigation into the FBI evidence of a "strong ass offer."

And Will Wade remains at LSU with no punishment yet handed out.

ESPN also complicit - no mention of the NCAA charges in the Self article.

Second Circuit Court of Appeals upheld convictions of Christian Dawkins and Merle Code in basketball bribery case.
