Biggest Reform EVER passed thread

Well the Senate plan doesn't reduce the "pass-through" rate, what it does is allow you to deduct 17% of pass through income. Doesn't have a huge effect if no one is itemizing due to the higher standard deduction and no SALT taxes. If what tilt posted about the SALT taxes being back in play is true, then its easier to game the system.

They bumped that up to 23% overnight. That's how they bought Johnson.

If you are accountants your legal and accounting cost for operating an S corp is 0

if stocks keep falling (-120 after an hour) after teh Flynn information, what will happen to the tax bill that only 28% of American agree with?

The stock market doesn't care about the popularity. Corporate taxes are being cut massively, and most of that cut will likely go to paying down debt, stock buybacks, and dividends. (Though its probably mostly baked in at this point.)

Did they get Flake and Corker or is Mike Pence heading to the Senate?

They got everyone except Corker.

Well then, Corker stands alone as the only Senator ever allowed to complain about the deficit going forward.

Flake is claiming he got a commitment from the administration and Senate leadership regarding DACA.

A commitment to be part of the conversation, lol.

Every day of trumps presidency must slowly kill him. Wants to be happy and gloat for tax reform passing, happens to fall the same day the russia investigation greatly intensifies. If he wasn’t such a piece of shit you might have sympathy for him.

Yep. You know there will be stories from news outlets in the next few days describing him as being "furious" and raising hell over the fact that he finally gets a major piece of legislation through Congress, only to have his moment ruined by headlines about Flynn. I'll bet he's eating lots of McDonalds, screaming at the TV as he watches CNN and MSNBC, and tweeting furiously. LOL.

It's almost as if there's a political witch hunt going on.

I like you can deduct religious instruction tuition but you know real school that teaches you things you are shit out of luck.

If they keep the AMT, I'd have to think most of the "it's a tax cut for the super rich" whining would have to go away.

It's just a straight FU to high income earners in high tax rate states and a benefit to most all the middle class.

except for the gigantic fuck you to sub 40 yr olds who have to pay for this $100/month bonus in 10-15 years
