Interesting changes in Disney resort policy presumably in response to the shooting.

If you choose to forgo housekeeping on a given day, the Disney nomenclature states that “the hotel and its staff reserve the right to enter your room for any purposes including, but not limited to, performing maintenance and repairs or checking on the safety and security of guests and property.” Disney states that cast members will give reasonable notice prior to entering by knocking and announcing that they will enter.
The popular theory is that this is a response to the incident that happened in Vegas earlier this year. The monorail resorts are quite tall and offer similar vantage points of crowded guest areas, as well as Walt Disney World transportation such as monorails, buses, and watercraft. Disney is not publicly stating why they are making the change though.

Interesting.

Nearly every college in the United States conducts ‘Health and Safety’ checks in the residence halls since the VT massacre. While the scheduled checks are infrequent, the more salient policy aspect is that it allows University staff to enter rooms at any time, for any reason*, similar to what Disney is enacting.

*To be clear, there has to be a good reason. But the language is crafted very CYA-esque, so that it can basically be read as 'any reason'.

RIIIISSSSCCCCC - There were VIDEOS of this shooting. It's not like Sandy Hook, which was probably a liberal troll job to score political points. This one HAPPENNED.

My company is flying out this week to Shot Show, hosted in Vegas.
 
The Vegas shooters girlfriends finger prints were on the bullets used in the shooting, and it appears she might have deleted social media accounts before his name was released. Interesting.

She said she helped him load magazines all the time. And yeah, it appears she figured out what happened pretty quickly and tried to protect herself by deleting those accounts. What are you thinking here? I'd imagine if she was actually in on it she'd have deleted those social media *before* the shooting, right?
