Poor clock management at the end of the first had a lot to do with the 3 points they got at the end of the half.

Do you mean Wake scoring too soon when we had the ball on the goal line? If so, I disagree as we went to a quick play to increase our chances of getting the TD. It's hard to argue against a successful strategy to get a TD. But perhaps you are referring to something different?

It was 1st and goal from the 1 yard line and 3 had all 3 timeouts and 60 secs left against one of the worst defense teams around. Yeah you run clock and still score the td. Anything else is playing not to lose. Winners do not think about things like: what if there is a penalty and push us back? what if we fumble the snap?

Well we saw how successful we were in short yardage situations later in the game, didn't we? Hard to argue with punching it in. Take points. The D has to do a better job to end the half. Including penalties

Or, you score the TD and stop them on D, since their offense is based on the run and often takes many plays to move the ball (as it had all first half). They got in position for the FG because of the personal foul. Arguing about scoring TDs too fast certainly doesn't seem like a winner's mentality.
