First Charges Filed in Mueller Investigation

Remember when this was their plan to explain the firing of Comey in the first place? It went so well the first time, might as well try it again. This time with a website!

CNN: White House circulating plan to undermine Rosenstein

The plan, still in its early stages of development, will instruct key Trump allies to question Rosenstein's impartiality as the top Department of Justice (DOJ) official overseeing special counsel Robert Mueller's probe, CNN reported Thursday.

The White House wants allies of the president to emphasize Rosenstein's status as a witness to Trump's firing of former FBI Director James Comey, according to the report.

The No. 2 DOJ official wrote the memo justifying the dismissal of Comey that centered on his handling of the probe into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server while serving as secretary of State.

The White House plan includes pushing allies to portray Comey and Rosenstein as close colleagues, suggesting the top DOJ official wanted revenge on Trump for ousting "one of his best friends," a source told CNN. However, one source told the network that the two are not friends.

lol, Trump's team tried to use Rosenstein's reputation to launder the decision to fire Comey. Now, less than a year later, they want to use the fact that they used him to argue that Rosenstein can't oversee the investigation.

AND ALSO Rosenstein, the guy supposedly responsible for the decision to fire Comey, can't be impartial because he is friends with Comey.

lol Trump can seemingly stay focused and produce plans to smear his rival-of-the-moment like a high school kid, but can't stay focused on matters of foreign policy or trade like a grown up. tool

Man, these guys are really bad at criminaling. Even in the movies you see the dude demand a dollar or something to make sure attorney/client privilege applies.

just goes to show you how little the justice systems cares about the crimes of the wealthy that it takes the full weight of the federal justice system for anyone to care/notice and even then it barely hurts a guy's popularity

Actions of a guilty man sitting in a house of cards.

And Trump and his posse are a bunch of naive rubes if they think they can influence this investigation at this stage. Do they really think Mueller hasn't gamed this out all the way? You kill the Mueller investigation, this whole ballgame scatters to the Senate and individual states. Instead of Mike Flynn walking free, he is being prosecuted for kidnapping charges in PA. Trumps getting prosecuted in NY. Manafort is getting prosecuted in DC/VA.

And that's if a Democrat controlled House or even a GOP controlled Senate doesn't just re-hire Mueller to pick up the investigation where he left off.

Trump. His Team. Hannity. House GOP Rubes. Idiots. All of them.

Everyone is missing what may be the key to start the Russian money laundering investigation - Cohen's 200+ NYC taxi medallions. It seems like almost all of his were purchased well in advance of the price cratering due to Uber. At their peak, medallions often sold for over $1M each.

It was a great place to launder large amounts of money. Cohen had tons of ties to Russia and Ukraine. Even if he only paid an average of $750K for each, his "investors" put up $150M. They are now worth 1/3 of that amount.

The big question here may be - Who is Cohen more afraid of -the DOJ and BY State AG or his Russian partners?

Oh, shit. Call the Special Counsel's office.
