Bought my wife a "nice" one for post shower/getting ready and she fucking loves it. I think they're nice in certain contexts but I would never use one at home.
 
My wife has one that she wears a lot. I have one too, but can never find a reason to wear it. Seems unnecessary.
 
If you want to articulate your thoughts on all kinds of robes please feel free. Let's consider this the thread for all things robe.
 
But for those voting in the poll let's say bath robes to maintain the integrity of this study.
 
Graduation: Sure, fun tradition
Spa: Definitely
Home: no
Vacation/hotel: yep - great for going to and from the pool
 
Robes are great for when you're about to get a massage and you're all nude underneath. Otherwise, not so much. Unless you're a porn star.
 
Best look with a robe is with a shirt and tie. Always try to pull that one off at the hotel.
