Bullshit Fox News Says

So you're saying she's following the constitution's original intent?

We are less than a week away from some fucktard on Fox calling this the Democrat Flu.

The Dems are holding Trump to the same standards as past presidents to try to get him impeached.

Trish Regan just really gets my excited in a dystopian sexy kind of way.

Given their tendency to project everything onto the Democrats, this was inevitable. It's all they've got left. Nowhere in that clip does she defend the words and actions of Trump, because she can't. If things get worse with either the coronavirus or stock market (or both), this will quickly become the GOP line - "it's the LibDems who tanked the market and booming economy to bring down Trump!" (she said as much in the clip) - and soon it will somehow be the fault of Democrats, and not Trump, for the failure to have enough test kits or tests or to do more to contain the virus or warn the public (Trump has been downplaying the danger.) And his base will likely eat it up, as it feeds into their "liberals and Democrats are stupid anti-American traitors" line of thought. Their only other option would be to try and defend Trump's words and actions during this crisis, and there doesn't seem to be much enthusiasm for that.

This is actually pretty consistent with republican economics, privatize gains and socialize losses. Trump can only be responsible for good things.

Exactly.

And one of the major Republican myths is also at play here. Remember, government endeavors are the problem, almost always. Apart from military/defense actions.

Silly stupid Dems just screwing up things trying to do “good”.

Please don’t ask for details.

Coronavirus continues to spread, markets continue to be jittery. So what is Fox News talking about today? "You're Full of Sh--" "Biden gets into profanity and gaffe-filled spat with auto worker at Detroit campaign stop." Also a story on how Chuck Schumer is "facing mounting ethics complaints" over his SCOTUS comments. Also a story on Senator Tom Cotton saying that he'll forgive Schumer's "appalling" remarks on Kavanaugh and Gorsuch if he joins with the GOP to oppose late-term abortions. Nothing on the stock market, and a few stories on the coronavirus in small type. And a nice story about how faith, prayer, and turning to Jesus for support will give you the courage and strength that you need to survive the coronavirus scare. Any port in a storm, I guess.
