Yeah it is pretty funny that whatamount who gets hyper offended at any offhand comment on the board under the guise of decrying bigotry is giving Tucker Carlson a pass for his blatant homophobic, racist and sexist remarks.

This is the same guy who clutches his pearls if somebody calls somebody else a bitch on the message board.

Lol Yea you’re right Catamount. Calling Iraqis “a bunch of primitive monkies,” women “extremely primitive,” defending Warren Jeffs, is totally NBD. A guy with millions of viewers with this kind of influence is definitely not worth the pearl clutching 🙄

It's almost as if their go-to move is to respond to the liberal criticism of Tucker, rather than Tucker's actual comments. As one article on his comments pointed out, it is notable that, while speaking on the radio show, Tucker clearly had done a good deal of research on state sexual consent laws - "He...exhibited a conspicuously thorough knowledge of state consent law" to make "frequent, repeated and apparently unsolicited defenses of Warren Jeffs, the leader of a fundamentalist Mormon sect that practiced polygamy and ritualized child molestation.“ Tucker called the charges against Jeffs "bullshit" (Jeffs is serving a life sentence for child molestation, including raping a twelve-year-old girl while telling her to "feel the spirit of God"), and Tucker said that "I should make the laws around here...Warren Jeffs would be out on the street." He also explicitly defended child marriage as being different from, and less severe than, stranger or child rape. That's some hero right-wingers and Fox viewers have there...we've got to defend him from the big bad librul bullies! Those meanies!

Man it was crazy when Rachel Maddow and Chris Mathews joked about raping Melania on MSNBC radio. Really weird that no one got mad or anything.
