Bullshit Fox News Says

Yep. And they are ruthless towards gay people.

But what the average Republican voter (and Tucker Carlson) doesn’t understand about Russia is that its a complete mafia state where no one really trusts anyone because the system is so corrupt.

Years ago, I read a piece about a western journalist traveling in Moscow for a story. The journalist was in a cab in heavy traffic when an ambulance came up behind them with lights and sirens blaring. No one moved aside including the cab. The journalist asked the cabbie why no one moved for the ambulance and he said because rich people will often pay ambulances to illegally drive them through heavy traffic so no one trusts that there’s an actual emergency now.

Imagine living in that type of society.

A society where money can buy you around any of inconveniences? I can see where the GOP find that appealing.

Yep—appears modern Russia is GOP dreamland.

Incredibly corrupt, maintain power by propaganda, disinformation, and cheating at every opportunity.

All well and good as long as the “right” people are in power.

Thx Pubs.

Of course, if that happened in the US, poor white people would move to the side and spread rose petals in front of the ambulance and praise the brave first responders who helped JW Moneybags through the liberal traffic.

According to a Forbes article, Texas with about 29 million people has a substantially larger GDP than Russia, with about 145 million ($1.7 trillion to $1.28 trillion.) The GDP per capita in Texas is about $58,000, in Russia it's under $9,000. Not only is Russia not a place that any sane person would want to emulate politically and socially, economically it's a mess too.

That’s just the liberal elites who hate the poor God-fearing Christians.

Reinstating the Fairness Doctrine would help. Can viewers sue people who willingly broadcast misinformation? That would help over time.

It would be beneficial for the House committees to conduct more hearings like Wednesday to just get the facts out there and counter misinformation about how this works.

Yeah, it's very clear now that allowing the Reagan Administration to abolish the Fairness Doctrine was a terrible move. If the Fairness Doctrine were still in place it would be far harder for Fox and other right-wing sites (and some left-wing, to be sure) to spew the crap that they do. I think bringing it back has become a necessity if we're ever going to get a grip on what has become pure propaganda networks masquerading as "news" sources. Making it easier to sue networks might help too.

Comey was scheduled to be on F&F tomorrow morning at 8 am but after the IG report release today Fox cancelled his appearance

Of all Dear Leader's many accomplishments, ending the oppressive LibDem ban on the ability to say Merry Christmas! to one another is surely one of the greatest. Christians everywhere owe him a debt of eternal gratitude for liberating them from those pagan liberals and their chants of Happy Holidays.
