Any word on late commits? What is the kicking situation?

We’ll have to keep an eye on Under Armour All-American Combo-Kicker, Dominic Maggio 6’3-190 rising JR at Wake..

He will be vying to win the job and pull off the “Sam Swank” Daily Double..

* Maryland state record 35 field goals with career long of 55 yards

Like every move Clawson seems to make, this one feels very intentional towards the message he's trying to sell about playing Football at Wake Forest. You can make excuses about academics & Wake's small size, or you leverage them as a resource. Clawson has, correctly IMO, chosen the latter.

We have to have one of the most/best educated football staffs out there with the schools graduated from.

Not to mention it addresses perhaps our 2 weakest areas this past season

" In addition, he worked as a stuntman and featured extra in the movie "Radio" starring Cuba Gooding, Jr."

Well, that's kinda cool:thumbsup:

Love this hire. He seems like a good fit for the staff. Great move to use the 10th assistant spot on a young coach who still has a ton of experience including experience recruiting in our target regions.

Do we hear a +5?

Going once. Going twice......

Jesse Bates and Duke Ejiofor are heading to the NFL combine. NFL.com has Duke rated as a 4-5 rounder. They have very little info on Bates. Starts Feb 27th and goes to March 5th.Good luck to our Deacs!
