KP Report on the NC State Wolfpack - 8 pm Thursday ACC Network ESPN 3

http://www.wralsportsfan.com/nc-sta...ions-cooper-urges-fans-to-stay-home/17270309/

So, the governor is telling people to stay home. Probably a good thing for us.

State fans aren't going to let Liberal Roy Cooper tell them what to do.

Why in the world do you think this about Beverly? He's starting in the ACC as a freshman, has a pretty good assist rate, limits turnovers, shoots 35% from behind the arc and is a pretty good floor general. He will continue to get better.

I certainly don't think he will ever be an All-ACC type player, but to say that he is "just ahead of Richard Joyce" is a pretty odd statement at this point in time.

Player A: 31 mpg, 9.8 pts, 2.2 reb, 4.2 ast, 1.5 to
Player B: 30 mpg, 8.7 pts, 3.8 reb, 6.0 ast, 3.6 to
Player C: 32 mpg, 8.6 pts, 3.4 reb, 4.7 ast, 2.8 to
Player D: 30 mpg, 6.6 pts, 2.0 reb, 5.7 ast, 1.7 to
Player E: 25 mpg, 9.1 pts, 2.9 reb, 3.8 ast, 2.1 to

Who you got?

Yeah, that was a pretty questionable take on Beverly. We could use him.

Maybe I am....wrong? That said, I want our players to think about how the entire State team sucks. And then go beat them. Instead, we probably gonna lose.

Without seeing anything about their defense, or any shooting %, I would take D. Give me a PG with lots of assists and high assist - turnover ratio. 3 points and 1-2 rebounds don't mean that much to me from the PG spot.

I'll take A. 6.6 seems like a really low point total for 30 mins. Sounds like a shooting liability.

Give me a point guard who strives for more assists than points any day. Most college rosters have enough talent that the PG doesn't have to be a big scoring contributor.

With the Tractor jokes about state being the norm. the old saying that fits here is " they gonna beat us like a rented mule"

Put me in for Player E. 2 more pts/40 than any other player, 2nd most reb/40, 6.1 asts/40 (3rd most), and pretty solid ast/TO. Also, lower minutes leads me to believe he's younger with more upside.

Player A (Braxton Beverly, NCSU, freshman): 31 mpg, 9.8 pts, 2.2 reb, 4.2 ast, 1.5 to
Player B (Ish Smith, WFU, freshman): 30 mpg, 8.7 pts, 3.8 reb, 6.0 ast, 3.6 to
Player C (Ish Smith, WFU, sophomore): 32 mpg, 8.6 pts, 3.4 reb, 4.7 ast, 2.8 to
Player D (Tyler Lewis, NCSU, sophomore*): 30 mpg, 6.6 pts, 2.0 reb, 5.7 ast, 1.7 to
Player E (Brandon Childress, WFU, sophomore): 25 mpg, 9.1 pts, 2.9 reb, 3.8 ast, 2.1 to

*per 30. Lewis played 19.9 mpg

Props to tigerswood for choosing a Deac.
