Andy McCabe Resigns

It was reported on CNN and MSNBC.

Here's what Politifact says about the GOP premise that either warrant was based "entirely on the Dossier":

http://www.politifact.com/florida/s...-closer-look-steele-dossier-and-carter-pages/

"Our ruling
Foley said James Comey and news reporting showed the basis of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant for Carter Page was "all based on a dossier."

This is not accurate. CNN and the New York Times never reported that the dossier was the basis for Carter’s probe. CNN reported that it "part of the justification" and the New York Times didn’t even mention the dossier.

We couldn’t find any evidence that proved Comey suggested that Page’s warrant was "all based on a dossier." According to CNN’s unnamed sources, Comey has cited the dossier, but has not confirmed publically how much of it has been verified."

What would happen if Page was charged and found guilty and then the warrant was thrown out?

I've Googled several permutations of FISA Warrant thrown out in court/trail...case overturned due to bad FISA Warrant -guess how many I found since the program started in 1978? The answer is ZERO.

Why would this judge want to be the first?

Why would a person put in place by Trump/Sessions want to do this?

Sorta but not as bad as you make it in this post. You’ve got a credible investigative body attempting to investigate a group of people who have lived their lives outside of the law, and you have the media attempting to do its job and report, and you have said group of criminals doing everything under their considerable power to obfuscate, confuse, obstruct, distract, and ultimately destroy the situation.

The political climate you are so frustrated with is exactly what this administration and its supporters want.

The democrats are hapless wimps in all of this.

Hapless is an understatement. Including Reagan's first win in 1980, there have been 19 presidential and off-year elections through 2016. The Democrats have done well in only 6 of those elections - Clinton's two wins in 92 and 96, Obama's two wins in 08 and 12, and clear off-year election victories in 86 and 06. Beyond that, it's been mostly GOP victories. The GOP - mendacious, intolerant, and greedy as they may be - has an election formula that usually works. Democrats, for the most part, have been bumblers and amateurs compared to the GOP. They should do well this year, but they still have plenty of time to blow it (again).

Nunes just told Dems on the Committee that GOP has already begun an "investigation" of the FBI and DOJ.

Welcome to the dictatorship of Donald Trump!

House Intel Committee votes to release the memo!

https://www.cnn.com/2018/01/29/politics/house-intelligence-committee-devin-nunes-memo/index.html

The House Intelligence Committee voted Monday evening to publicly release a Republican memo alleging abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, but voted against releasing a memo written by the committee's top Democrat, Rep. Adam Schiff told reporters.

It really seems like this is the beginning of the end, but not in the way Moonz is so excited about. Pretty sad for our Republic.

Retirement down like $9,000 today, thanks investigation, probably should just wrap this shit up so we can get back to making that money.

The anti-investigation crowd once again selectively leaves out important facts.

The Russia probe did not start solely because of the dossier.

The Russia probe started because of foreign Intel from a variety of countries and sources - one of which happened to be the Dossier which further corroborated reports from our allies.

But obummer isn’t in those stories

Oh, good, we will get a completely biased one-side take to distract the media for 2 days. Schiff shuld just leak the dem memo.

For all of you who railed against Hillary and the risk her private email server posed to national security, how do you square releasing classified Intel that the DOJ says will compromise sources and methods and likely put our IC and allies in harm's way?

Your hypocrisy is shameful.
