The Democrats need to start running ads about this asap. They're going to gut Social Security and Medicare if he gets reelected, plain and simple. Combined with this and the USPS crap and replacing more and more government inspectors and regulators with Trump stooges, and with the federal government's increasing dysfunction under his "leadership", this country will be unrecognizable if he gets another term. They're turning us into what used to be called a banana republic. All to own the libs and support Dear Leader and his grifting family and minions, no matter what. What a time to be alive.

some of us have been saying this for years...it's a scam, or bait and switch, that the super rich play on Americans. "I pay too much in taxes to pay my employees more"...when they get tax cuts they just use the money to buy-back stock. they still don't pay their employees more...shocking!
 
The trickle down was the safety valve to keep money flowing from the top to the bottom. They used the trickle as a way to sell moving more money to the top while they sealed the trickle. It never made any sense to anybody who’s ever been poor or lower class. You get money and you spend it and it flows through the economy. It doesn’t trickle. It straight up flows. So why should the money go to the trickle instead of the flow?
 
Welfare queens, Obama phones, and addictive handouts. Poor people getting food stamps don't deserve a refrigerator but the billionaire job creators deserve that third yacht.

OK. Yeah. So what? A "poorer" rich person is still rich and that would make poorer people much more comfortable and give them the ability to become rich.

A new listing of the states with the highest and lowest life expectancy is out. I know that many have seen these types of surveys before, and so it won't be a surprise, but the five states with the highest life expectancy are Hawaii, California, New York, Minnesota, and Massachusetts. The five states with the lowest life expectancy are Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, West Virginia, and Mississippi.

"Overall, states with the highest life expectancy at birth were predominantly in the West and Northeast, while states with the lowest life expectancy were mostly in the South...One possible reason is the relationship between health and socioeconomic status, with wealthier regions getting a health advantage, experts have said.

West Virginia and Mississippi have previously been listed at the bottom of other wellness rankings. Their residents have historically had a high rate of obesity and smoking. West Virginia has the country's highest adult rate of diabetes at 15.7%, according to the State of Childhood Obesity."

But we've all been told that blue states are dying hellholes of despair while red states are low-tax utopias.

This here is the crux of the biscuit. So many ancillary issues spawned by this Laffer Curve supply-side horseshit.

That the wealthy class wanted this is understandable, greedy creeps. The remarkable thing is that it was sold so easily to the working and middle class. The misinformation campaign was in full swing by 1980 and lapped up by these marks. This will be studied and talked about for generations, that is if the environment can continue to support human life after what these assholes did to it with their other lies.
