How is the window shutting for the rockies....youngest rotation in the bigs...sure some field players may move on but not to the point the window starts to close

Depending on when that was done, Phillies may be better equipped to contend with Arrieta signed.

Blue Jays on the wrong side of window open. I think the Reds are closer to contending than that indicates. And the Natties' future is only partially dependent on Harper - they're in decent shape even if he leaves with their top two pitchers and a nucleus of Robles/Turner/Taylor/Rendon.

I'm just glad to see the Phillies on the chart! Last few years they were included in the "Window's Broken" chart of Triple A.

Maybe the Phils can sign Machado after the season as precursor to bringing Iggles fan Mike Trout home. :)

"The Process" seems to be working for baseball in Philly too.

lol at Detroit. Some of those contracts they gave out were absurd. Especially Cabrera. Ouch. That Zimmerman deal looks awful too. Good thing they were able to move Verlander before his arm falls off. He is only owed 3 years and $78MM. Baseball contracts are nuts.

(SORRY, TOWNIE!)

That is why the Phillies gave Jake that unusual 3/5 year contract. If he isn't pitching well after 3, bye bye. If he is, he is theirs for two more at what should be "reasonable" money.

Excited about the Bronx Bombers this year though the pitching is still suspect.

Predicting 101-61

He has an opt-out after next season, no?

Kyle Schwarber butchers two plays in left field in the third to allow the Marlins back into the game. Marlins IBB his next appearance at the plate. Smart move. Schwarber hits a 97 mph fastball 406 feet for a home run to get a make up for one of those errors in the top of the seventh.
