Chris Mack has hired Dino as an assistant at Louisville. So, basically the staff that Wake Forest could have hired/had in 2008.

There goes RJ's argument about Dino being so awful that he could never get another coaching job again...

Perfect response from you. You don't respond to the post. . You can't dispute the points he makes. so you make it about him.

Perfect!

Predictable!

Yeah this is huge for Dino and exactly what he should be doing. He gets a bad rap for a situation he would've never wanted. Did the best he could and was more successful than the two that followed him. And was treated like shit by Ron. What a disaster.

Who said Dino couldn’t get a job as a 3rd assistant coach? We basically hired a guy from the Y for that job last year.

Good for Dino. He should thrive as an assistant and can tout all of the NBA guys he coached.

OTOH, fuck us.

How does getting an assistant's job after nine years "prove" I was wrong that Dino hasn't been offered a HC job since he was fired?

That's a bizarre stretch of reality.

Dino was a good assistant coach but a terrible HC.

Agreed. Dino was born for a high upside, recruiting specialist, assistant coaching job.

Last I was meeting a couple of friends in downtown Louisville to watch the game and have some drinks. Realizing that I would likely leave my car downtown and take a cab home, I became proactive and took the bus.

Then a curious "only in Kentucky" thing started happening. Each time someone got of the bus, they paused and chimed,"thank you" to the bus driver. Who replied, "thanks for riding have a good night."

That was a nice puzzle.

I wasn't thinking as the three of us enveloped the couple next to us during the game. With a minor amount of bar food (and certainly no bottle service at this place) we had a bill of around $500 before the tip.

I "walked" down to the river and got a bus. To my surprise the same thing happened on the way home that went on during the other ride. Everyone thanked the driver and she wished everyone a good night.

I've ridden public transportation all over the world. This is the first time I saw anything like this.

Just like [Redacted] belongs as the defensive genius for the best team in basketball. We haven’t had an HC since Skip.

Somewhere Skip is smiling and toasting Mack/Dino with a Guinness.

Isn't it wonderful that Louisville even after the scandal gets a very good coach in Chris Mack and we're stuck with Danny boy.
