I'm not a serious enough golfer to drop serious money on a random spot with random people. But if I could play with my brother, I would be willing to pay $1,000.

ACC is a great test. One of the best courses I've played and you'll hit every club. With a member the week before or after masters drops to under $ 150. Most members just write off that week and drop by for drinks late. They sold #9 to the national so they can back the tees up on on #13. ACC will close in May for six months to redo #8 and #9 all paid for by the national.

National paid $27 million for the 9th hole which will more than pay to reconfigure 8 and 9....and will significantly boost ACC's balance sheet.
