Wake Forest TBT Team

What an incredible waste of time, money, and effort all the way around.

Apparently the TBT team guys were no longer diligent followers of Ryan Horn.
 
Worst part is after this dud I doubt we see the guys put in the effort to make this team a reality again.
 
Obviously not the outcome we wanted nor expected from this past weekend. A lot of hard work the past few months down the drain in a matter of and hour and a half.

Want to thank all of you for your votes and support - this couldn't have been done without the Wake Forest fans who - despite our small size - earned an automatic bid through fan voting. Think about that for a second. Wake Forest got into TBT based on what essentially is a popularity contest - and we have you all to thank for that. These guys, like a lot of you, love Wake Forest - and that's why they played. Obviously would have liked a better outcome, but it looks like Father Time and some no-shows really hurt.

Will have to see if some of the guys want to give it another go in the future. Know LD is on board. Would have been really nice to have some of the younger guys on the squad that are doing well. Maybe this can be their wake up call (no pun intended).

Can you give any more details on why J-Ho didn't play?
 
Exactly. He's a 38 year old former All-Star with bad knees who is a college head coach. The only way I could see him playing is if he was a player-coach planning to play a few minutes to help younger alums get paid and get some publicity for his program.

Wouldn't be shocked if he got the lay of the land and knew this was a losing effort from the start.

thanks for all you did for this tournament. I know it took Showtime 3 tries to make to past the first round. Hopefully next year brings a bit more speed and a bit less age to the team.
 
Seems like they might need to do 9 foot rims
 
Looks like Wake isn't fielding a TBT team this year. Even so, they may still win as many games as Wake does in the ACC next season.

There is a team CP3. Only WFU guy on the roster is Aaron Roundtree.
 
Not many guys who can play who were big time wake guys anymore. The skip era players are too old to compete anymore, and we know what we've had since then.

You wouldn't like the chances of a Madison Jones/Miles Overton/Aaron Rountree/Trent Van Horn/Andre Washington type of squad?
