Having to count an 80 because we don't have 5 competitive golfers really killed us as did shooting +7 over the last two holes.

Having a walk on at five definitely killed us too - meant that anything 2-4 did wrong was going to screw us.
 
again - our 2-4 played measurably worse than every other contenders' 2-4 - by a lot

if our 2-4 shot as well as any other contender, we're advancing to Stillwater with ease
 
+7 on last 2 holes is big time chokefest. BUTTTT it appears Clemson may be on verge of bigger choke job as they are now +8 and only 1 player is negative, so hopefully the wheels continue to come off that bus and the pressure gets to them as well.
 
By the way, Clemson is collapsing and is now a stroke behind us so we are back in 6th.
 
Deacs now up on Clemson by 1 stroke for final spot.....:popcorn:
 
only 8 holes left for CU's 4 golfers. Hopefully 17 and 18 are really playing hard today so the Deacs blow up can be repeated by Tiggers.
 
They need their 1, 2, and 4 golfers to play their remaining 6 holes in -2 to win, -1 to force a playoff.
 
#1 golfer in with no damage, so down to their 2&4 golfer on final 2 holes unless their #3 can go birdie/birdie which just not seeing.
 
Going to have to be their #2 as their 4 didn't come through!
 
Looks like a playoff at worse as don't see their #2 going birdie/birdie when she has had only 1 all day.
 
that +7 really looks bad now with CU only +1 with 4 of their 5 in. Clearly not a case of tough holes.
 
Played w Bama’s #1 at Wyndham Cup event at Old Town prior to her Frosh year at Clemson (transferred after 1 year)...she could really play...shot 66 that day.

Really want the Deacs to hold on...love both of our golf programs and feel we should compete every year for championships
