Donald Trump is a lot further down the road to peace than the lackadaisical and aloof Barack Obama ever got us.
 
NK wants to end up like Pakistan and will get even more from Trump to help them along.

Trump's preparation for this "summit" was to eat at a McDonald's owned by a Korean family.
 
The happiest person about this summit is Melania. First of all, she gets rid of her hubby for a week. But the real goal is for Trump to fall deeper in love with Kim (Trump has stated he and Kim have fallen in love already). Melania is hoping for a divorce...

Trump's best man is in Hanoi. Russian Foreign Minister and Oval Office bro Sergei Lavrov arrived there today.

The Trump/Kim marriage can happen this week.

The President has handled this with a diplomacy even Democrats can appreciate.

Oh yea,yea..the President engaged in some schoolyard bluster initially and that was by design.I don’t know what was going on with Kim firing missiles and scaring the hell out of SK,Japan,Hawaii etc.,but he was bound to hear from the American President.President Obama would have ordered the strategic annihilation of Kim and NK’s leadership had the troubled young “Supreme Dictator” (how do Koreans say Pharaoh?).Anyway,Barack would have approached Kim with kid-gloves aimed at containment.The problem is that Kim sensed Obama’s lame-duck status and began bolder and bolder missile launches.

Those of us who have followed Trump know he is not the hawk,say,a McCain or Clinton is..he is not afraid to send U.S. forces but he’d rather not.It took some guts in his latest State of the Union when he said “Great Nations do not fight endless wars”.He wants no conflict for either Korea or ourselves but he clearly saw that dealing with Kim in a manner of appeasement would be analogous to Churchill’s comments on the crocodile.

So he stood the guy up..smacked Kim in his chops.Surprised the Supreme Shrimp Roll with an in your face style to match Kim’s frothy bluster.It worked.Kim backpeddaled and attempted to regroup.No western diplomat or anyone else had ever dared tell this tin-pot Tyrant sit down and STFU! But that is exactly what The President did and it has caused Kim to sit up at the table.He may or may not eat his whirled peas,but the SOB has been brought under the swat of civilized nations who have jointly yelled “Enough!”
