Thread: Logout expiration

    Logout expiration

Did something change with this recently? I used to stay logged in for weeks, months maybe but now its a day or two before I'm logged out. Also when I log in, I get an error message:

    Invalid Redirect URL (http://www.ogboards.com/forums/forum....php/4-The-Pit)

I've encountered this before, too. This is what worked for me:

Yeah, give that above solution a try (if it is applicable). Also make sure any bookmarks/links you have saved are "https" instead of just "http".

I've noticed that when on mobile I'll come to the main OGBoards page I have bookmarked and it'll say I'm logged out in top right, but when I click a forum or thread it'll say I'm logged in on top right and I can read everything, post, etc.

Do you have that bookmark at HTTP instead of HTTPS? I know our host does some weird stuff to force that eventually, but I'm wondering if bookmarks/certain direct links can get around that at first until something is clicked from there.

Hmm, I take it back. it's not a bookmark per se, but OGB is always one of the first two listed on the frequently visited page on my iPhone. when I click the link it just says www.ogbboards...., no HTTP or HTTPS.

Chrome autocompletes the url for me as http://www.ogboards.com/forums/forum....php/4-The-Pit so I guess that's the issue then. Can you not set up an apache redirect to force https? Would that solve the issue?
