Family Separation at the Border: US citizens are now being detained

supporting mass illegal immigration is also supporting human trafficking, the two go hand in hand, along with rape, robbery as well as the illegal trade in human organs that accompany human trafficking, denial of these things is simply denial of the obvious and self-deception

Harsh immigration policies, increased discretionary power given to ICE, pressure to reduce/eliminate sanctuary cities all give increased power to traffickers as well.
 
secure borders with a points-based legal immigration system would be the best for the immigrants and the country, and the worst for the human traffickers and drug smugglers

A) How do you define secure, and at what cost? Border crossings account for fewer than 1/3 of all undocumented cases. What's the plan for the majority of undocumented immigrants who cross the border legally? Harsh enforcement makes these populations more vulnerable to forced labor, peonage, and sexual exploitation.

B) Why is points-based (merit) any more drug/trafficking averse than other systems, whether it be family reunification or the current diversity lottery (which was enacted to boost European immigrants)?

C) How would your system handle asylum seekers?

D) What do you propose for enforcement? The methods of enforcement drive trafficking significantly and shifts power dynamic in favor of the traffickers.

Sailor is playing boards 4d chess. We were discussing the child separation policy and how this poor 6 year old was abused physically at the center, on top of the psychological torture of being separated from her parents, and now sailor turned it into Dems and liberals defending their policy preferences from accusations of human trafficking. Well done sailor, well done.
