Family Separation at the Border: US citizens are now being detained

So what crime against humanity did she finally refuse to do for Tinpot Mussolini?

So what crime against humanity did she finally refuse to do for Tinpot Mussolini?

Didn’t she just announce some economic deal with Central America countries that was superseded by Trump cutting all funding to CA?

I doubt she refused to do anything. Trump probably blames her for not stopping families from coming to claim asylum. Or not being able to sell the "emergency" enough.

Reports I saw said he blames her for the rise in asylum seekers. Which is just dumb.

That's the guy thinking of running against Mark Meadows. God bless him.

She is an evil, gutless toady. She should have to live in the same cells as stole and put kids in.

Looks like she’s started writing her biography.

How many impeachable offenses are we up to now? Are we even keeping track anymore, as the president calls for agents to ignore the law, and ignore judges, because "He just wants to separate families"

Who cares? Traitor Democrats. Way to go Trump!

Seriously. We’re way beyond the point of breaking historical and institutional norms.

Put yourself back in the mid 2010s, 2000s, 90s, whatever and picture all of this happening under another President’s watch.

We’re in a dark fucking place in American history right now.

More than half of it doesn't even register because the media is hung on Trump's words than the actions this administration is doing to undermine our country.

Yep. It's now clear that so much of our democracy has been based on the the relative goodwill and voluntary restraints of political leaders (and fears of what might happen to them if they crossed certain lines), and a willingness in both parties to compromise on issues to pass legislation and make government work. And we've lost that. It's bread and circuses all the time now, and Trump is the ringmaster. We've got a reality-show POTUS leading a hopelessly dysfunctional government and political system. And it's not just us, but the UK and many other democracies are struggling right now as well. It's an ugly time.
