Family Separation at the Border: US citizens are now being detained

Thanks, but I cannot overplay the Dems' hypocrisy.

Right. When a Democratic POTUS refers to all Mexican immigrants as rapists, says that immigrants into California "aren't people. These are animals", that immigrants from darker-skinned parts of the world are coming from "shithole" countries while saying that we need more immigrants from places like Norway (light-skinned Scandanavians!) then you'll be onto something.

Help is available.

Shared amongst these is a notion that the everyday activities of President Trump trigger some people into distorted opinions, extreme emotions and hysterical behaviors. Well-known writer Bernard Goldberg gives supposed behavioral examples of TDS among Trump’s political opponents, including fainting, vomiting, students retreating to "safe spaces" and others demanding "therapy dogs." Political commentator Justin Raimondo focuses on opinions, language and cognition, writing in the LA Times that "sufferers speak a distinctive language consisting of hyperbole [leading to] a constant state of hysteria… the afflicted lose touch with reality."

Many have argued that some people have been seriously disturbed and distressed by the policies, speech, behavior, and tweets of President Trump, so much so that it has affected their cognitive, affective, and behavioral functioning. Such people may need mental health support.

I know that conservatives like you just don't take Trump's tweets and words seriously, but you ought to, as words have consequences, sailor. It's hard to take Trumpites seriously when they just ignore the impact of Trump's rhetoric on the country, and especially his base. I wonder how Goldberg feels about Trump's rhetoric in inciting the insurrection on 1/6, or falsely claiming that the election was stolen from him? It's inconvenient little facts like that that completely undermine the arguments of the article you cited. You're the one who is deluded and blind. How does it feel to be a member of blindly obedient, immigrant-fearing and-hating cult of personality, sailor? Do you enjoy it?

Fuck everyone that defends this.

yep. biden administration continues to fuck this up

plenty of Americans sleep under bridges now, why won't you let immigrants trying to find a better life sleep under our bridges?

typical liberals

Agreed -- granted it has only been two months and he inherited a shitshow, and he won't get any help from Republicans who would literally prefer they all die, but he needs to prioritize fixing this as soon as possible.

I am guessing a blast from the past. the reincarnation of jhmd

The gall of jhmd disappearing during Trump and coming back to scold democrats is... completely expected and in line with everything we know about him and who he is as a person.

Republicans:. Biden needs to fix this huge, complex problem without spending any money in the next 2 days.

RJ, by framing it as a problem uniquely caused by Republicans you are excusing Democrats and defending the status quo.

To think anyone can snap their fingers and make this right overnight is delusional. No one even knew the depth of this problem. It's not "defending the status quo" to want figure out what has happened and how to fix it.

But you aren’t going to figure out how to fix it if you think it was caused solely by Republicans.

Never mind.

The current situation was caused by Trump. His policies led to it. There was no transition period nor were there any ways to trace what had gone on. Trump's refusal to share information was also a cornerstone of it.
