Regionals started today.

NC St. has been the big surprise so far. They lost 5-1 to Army today. To give an idea how bad this loss is, Army has hit a season total of 9 HR's.

Florida State down 7-6 in bottom of 8th.

ACC baseball looking sad during today's NCAA Regionals

#7 overall seed Florida State drops their opener to Samford
#10 overall seed Clemson tied up with Morehead State 3-3 through 7
#16 overall seed NC State loses 5-1 to Army
Dook gets shut out by the Mighty Troy Trojans

Thank god UNC athletes don't have to study for their fake classes, they got the ACC's lone win thus far.... beating up on North Carolina A&T.

Edit: Forgot about Louisville... they crushed the Golden Flashes
 
Heck of a turd laid by the Pack last night. Team hasn't had the same mojo after they got swept at home by UNC. Sort of expected us to get beat by Auburn and not make it out of the regional (probably didn't deserve to host with the way we finished) but damn that's a bad loss. Bats have completely gone away after the red hot start. Only really trust McClain, Wilson, and Edwards, which is a problem given the stats the rest of the guys put up all season.
 
How and why on earth is there no review availability in the regionals? More specifically, the Greenville regional.
 
ACC really laid an egg this year except for UNC with F$U, Clemson, and State all losing their home regionals. Duke is still alive but will need to win 2 games today down at the Athens regional.
 
it is no doubt time for ole Mike martin to step down for Noles. What an atrocious decision to send out your starting pitcher who went 8+ innings with over 100 pitches after a 2 hour delay to try to finish off a game. Forget about the odds of him pitching well, but for goodness sakes that can't be doing the kid's arm any favors. He said the kid really wanted to stay in the game??? Huh? That is not how you coach sir. Cost the Noles dearly and hopefully the kid's arm isn't hanging off his shoulder today.

Chris Pollard is a beast. Dude worked absolute magic to get App freakin' State freakin' baseball to a win away from the supers, no big surprise he's got Duke rollin'
 
is there a more underachieving postseason team in college baseball than Clemson? 3 years in a row hosting a regional without moving on. 8 years in a row of not advancing out of the regional. No national championships despite being a so called power for years. Meanwhile, South Carolina advances to another super regional.

Yup. Good coach. And amazingly has a few guys from North Carolina on the roster.

FSU would give them a run for their money. ACC baseball programs love tripping over their own dicks in the big dance
