Putin-Trump Treason Summit

While it’s a party’s job to nominate someone who can win elections (the primary goal of a party’s existence) i have no idea why the democrats would care about nominating someone who appeals to “principled conservatives.” Seems like that’s nearly mutually exclusive with the party at large.

Most “principled conservatives” who are making these comments now are the same ones who criticized plenty of democrats for biting the bullet on voting for Hillary, equivocated by saying “Donald and Hillary are both bad candidates” and mocked them for supporting a Clinton throughout.

A bunch of complicit enablers who were spineless cowards in 2016.

The international community (our allies) are pushing back pretty hard.

The German Foreign Minister said "Germany can no longer rely on the White House." Now this from PM Turnbull of Australia:

I think you could make a pretty strong argument that this the worst point in his Presidency.

She was a terrible candidate because her personality is salty and people dont take a shine to her. But that’s it.

Otherwise she is intelligent, well-informed on the issues, tough, hard-working, and decisive. And as far as I can tell from the

So the blame goes to America for being lazy and shallow and myopic and, in about half of the vote for Trump, deplorable. Sorry your party needed the Dems to “help you out” to not vote for this man. Apparently republican hand were forced to vote for Trump because hillary’s Personality didn’t suit their taste, despite her policy positions very much in line with most of America’s. REagan would have voted for her.

Yep.

Only thing keeping "conservatives" from voting for the smart lady is the BS lies they've lived on from Limbaugh, Hannity, etc. for decades.

"Principled" conservatives should have been able to find a reason not to vote for Trump and shouldn't need to be relied on by Democrats as they put forth their own candidates. If your point truly has any merit lets see those principled conservatives drop the hammer on Trump politics in the midterms.

Principled conservatives either have left or are about to leave the damn party. Or turn publicly against Trump. There's no other option at this point.

Name one elected “principled Republican conservative” in 2018 anyways. They’re either Donald sycophants or have left the GOP.

I mean people realize trump lives in his own trump reality and that no matter what pushback he gets, no matter what is said that in trump reality he did a good thing because he thinks he is ending a conflict and doing something nobody else could ever do. He checks this off in his mission accomplished to do list and moves on to the next thing that needs trump reality solving. So ever since the Cold War the world has waited for the anointed one to bring peace between Russia and the USA, it was a hard grueling task that took intelligence and skill but trump pulled it off in a few hours. Maybe world hunger will be next week but for now it’s time to rest and relax.

"And on the seventh day Trump ended His work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made." --from The Book of Deals, The Rube Bible, Huckabee Sanders version, verse 2:2

One of the incredible things about Trump's presidency (among many) is how it has helped ease people's memories of Dubya. By almost any measure his eight years were a disaster, both in foreign and domestic policy, and many of the people who surrounded him - Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rove, etc. - were considered some of the most sinister and/or corrupt presidential aides since at least Nixon. He was definitely one of the worst presidents of my lifetime, and even Republicans seemed eager to forget his two terms. Yet compared to Trump, GWB looks like FDR. If there's one person in America who must be happy that Trump is POTUS, it's Dubya. When he left office in 2009, it was a nearly unanimous view among political historians that he would remain near the very bottom of rankings of US Presidents. Trump has done more to rehabilitate GWB's popularity than anyone thought possible.

Yep. But there were plenty of people who didn't think Bush was such a disaster. They mocked Obama for going abroad to restore the world's confidence in the US and he succeeded. We all know what's going to happen. Three years from now, FOX News will have the headline "President Duckworth Hobbles to Germany on Apology Tour."

The revisionist history about Trump's treason will start tomorrow after the shock wears off.

This frightens me.

The next president should institute a national day of civics as a way to keep the memory of this dumpster fire from fading or being revised.

Trump didn’t say anything today he hasn’t been saying all along. Why on earth would the rubes care now? Moderate pubs are just testing the water with this outrage. They’ll be back to groveling by the end of the week. Just look at all his primary opponents he treated like absolute dogs after the election.
