Doral Moore joining Washington Wizards summer league team

Crawford especially. He regressed junior year. Had he come back and had a strong senior year, at the least he would be up there in the Wake Forest record books and had his degree, which is a nice couple of things to fall back on.

The only record he had a legitimate chance of assaulting was the All Time turnover record.

It amazes me how much joy people take in slamming players. It's a cottage industry.

Doral was also -11 in his seven minutes in a game the Wizards were otherwise +6.

Summer league plus-minus is definitely one of the most worthless stats.

It is easy to root for CMM. He was a frustrating player at times, but he stuck out a bunch of [Redacted] years, graduated, and continues to improve his craft after college. Loads of respect for that guy. Can’t see how a Wake fan wouldn’t be rooting for that guy to succeed.

100%. When I think back on the slightly older dark times I mostly remember him and Harris.

CMM is also excellent evidence that completing your degree (staying for your 3rd and 4th years) doesn't damage mid-level basketball professionals. He has made good money, and is now showing his skills in the summer league. All the while he knows that he has a degree in his back pocket for when his career ends. He has handled his education and career with great wisdom, and it is not difficult to see that he has a great chance to be successful no matter where his basketball career takes him. Always proud to cheer for a guy like that.

Was evidence really needed for this? Has anyone said otherwise?

CMM had 8 points, 8 assists and 5 steals in 27 minutes this afternoon.

Moore with only one minute and a lot of goose eggs today.

Crawford’s Nets tip off in a few minutes.

Ayton is a beast. Isaac looks a lot better than Josh Jackson.

It’s very common with roster fillers.

For some reason, another poster made a comment about what you were saying here and that (paraphrasing) "evidence wasn't necessary" because no one had suggested your premise. Unfortunately we've got way too many folks on this board who think they're smart and have no room for understanding. I'm not sure why anyone would disagree with the premise that CMM is "an example" of how finishing your degree has certain potential merits for mid level pro basketball wannabes, but who knows. In any case, I agree with your premise, no matter how you said it. Cheers
