Totally Unofficial 2018/19 Premier League Thread (NWT)

The end of Inter-Empoli, with Champs League on the line for Inter and relegation on the line for Empoli, was crazy. Inter win, but there were like multiple one on ones saved, goal line clearances, breakaways, all of it. Inter end up holding on.

Other crazy shit happening elsewhere in Italy too and Atalanta are in the Champs League. Genoa stay up over Empoli equal on points but a better goal difference by one.

Oh shit it wasn’t on goal difference. Inter had a breakaway empty net goal disallowed so they were equal on points and Empoli is still relegated, but on head to head results. Wild finish.

Ndombele is Tottenham's #1 target by far, let's see what happens with that.

At least that’s a dope #1 target. It’d be cool to see him in the league.

I have no idea who Liverpool’s #1 target is, or if there even is anyone. They are on lockdown.

I believe that means that Spurs will be Pot 2 in next year's CL as well (unless we win the damned thing)

Would have enjoyed Derby going up but the look of disappointment on Lampard's face consoles. Grealish will be an enjoyable player to despise.

There are reports that Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al-Nahyan has reached an agreement with Mike Ashley to buy Newcastle for £350M.

Dear God let it be true. Newcastle with oil money might be scary.

Yeah, huge club with huge support and a massive bankroll would be scary indeed.

Worth another look. Ozil is sensational on this one, midfield, top of the box, final pass.

Posted on the UCL thread - Roberto Martinez to Barca

LOL LOL LOL

Unbelievable. In his last domestic campaign (his third season at Everton) he finished 12th. Big Sam finished 8th after taking over a team on the fringes of the relegation zone mid season.

Brown Shoes Bobby is a world class charlatan. You have to give him that.

Barca fans if you thought defending wasn't a priority this season, just wait until next year.

Could win the Prem within 5 years.
