A lot may depend on how the NCAA handles college player eligibility. If they allow kids to go to/return to college if drafted but not signed with a team or agent (like college baseball) that would probably be best for all. Schedules for draft and college LOI signing might need to be adjusted.
If NCAA stays with current hardline, that is you leave your name in the draft and your college eligibility ends, that would not be as good for the players but would give college coaches more certainty about their future roster earlier in the year.
