Or he just panicked because he didn’t appreciate the risk of such serious harm resulting from his action, which would negate an argument for criminal recklessness.

Was he the subject of a manhunt? I thought they knew who he was and were deciding what to charge him with.
 
He fled the scene and police used CCTV coverage to request assistance in identifying Jones as the suspect in the case.
 
The article from yesterday states the police were looking for help in finding the driver.

It’s Florida. Crazy that he could have used a gun and probably got in less trouble. Really unfortunate. Punching a drunk guy who is harassing and intimidating others is almost nobile. Fleeing the scene when your punch accidentally sends him to the hospital is not. Just a messed up situation.
 
The Ohio State AD is on the hot seat because an assistant bruised someone.

Deadly force on a drunk who isn’t a risk of causing imminent severe bodily injury isn’t noble. It’s murder.

Happened in NY. Dead guy is from Florida.
 
Seems like WF didn't get a heads up that this was happening.
