Trump revokes Brennan’s security clearance

Lt. General Mark Hertling, Commanding General of US Army in Europe and a leader in Iraq, was on CNN saying he stands with Adm. McRaven and asked Trump to take his security clearance.

It would be very cool if 100+ generals and admirals join them.

Yeah Brennan and the fallout could finally be a tipping point.

I know McRaven is very well respected in military circles so what Hennessy said above makes total sense. Interesting about Hertling as well. Line Hennessy said, courage is contagious.

This is a positive development, but the sailor moonz of the world are just going to say, "See!?!??!?!?! I told you the Deep State was colluding against Trump!"

Sooo much Deep State -- it's almost too much Deep State. I'm completely full, and my meal was Deep State. About to take a huge Deep State dump.

I remember when everyone tried to calm us down in late 2016 by saying, "Trump can't be that bad, and even if he gets a little crazy, government and military norms will rein him in." Turns out all those norms were just the Deep State this whole time and we are fucked.

White House drafts more clearance cancellations demanded by Trump

The White House has drafted documents revoking the security clearances of current and former officials whom President Trump has demanded be punished for criticizing him or playing a role in the investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election, according to senior administration officials.

Trump wants to sign “most if not all” of them, said one senior White House official, who indicated that communications aides, including press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Bill Shine, the newly named deputy chief of staff, have discussed the optimum times to release them as a distraction during unfavorable news cycles.

VIENNA — The raids came without warning, surprising even the intelligence operatives whose job is to never be caught off guard.

On the morning of Feb. 28, police stormed offices of Austria’s main domestic intelligence agency and carted off some of the nation’s most sensitive secrets in open crates and plastic bags. Top spy service officials working from home that day were greeted by officers threatening to break down their doors.

The extraordinary decision to target the agency responsible for defending the country from a multitude of threats, including right-wing extremism, had been made by the service’s new bosses: members of the far-right Freedom Party.

The reason? Defending the totalitarian North Korean regime from an Austrian espionage operation, among others cited in the search warrant. Critics saw absurd pretext for a politically motivated stab at an independent institution that could threaten the party’s agenda.

So now we’re attacking the guy who was one of the main architects of the Bin Laden raid...someone who commands a ridiculous amount of respect and is infinitely more patriotic than you will ever hope to be.
