“3 rings lower than whale shit” was traders lingo shared by Michael Lewis. One example I recall being bonds that were known-crap yet aggressively pedaled to less sophisticated bureaucrats in German municipalities.

BKF was tolerated at best. Card-carrying socialist BKF was a far worse version of MDMH.

Although I’ve been voting for them mostly for about 8 years.


Apparently, however, being against destructive and incoherent Pub politics or indicating any belief that we can (and ought to) govern ourselves in a positive or productive manner makes me a “liberal” or libtard or lube or some thoughtlessly dismissive epithet.

I've thought that for awhile. As for Swiss Chalet/BKF, he always seemed to go to extremes, no matter what side of the fence he was on. As a liberal, he was a far-left liberal (he openly called himself a socialist for awhile). Then, when he made his sudden turn, he went all the way to the other end, and became a stereotypical hard-right, Jesse Helms, racist, small-town, Trump-adoring reactionary. There was little to no middle ground, ever. I'm sure, though, that if the GOP does better than expected in this year's elections (like gaining substantial Senate seats) we'll see him return in full force the day after the election, and probably some other "lost" conservatives too.
 
Such a shitty thing to say. Really just shows an ignorance and unwillingness to learn. My take is that BKF was never a socialist, just a raging liberal. Folks on here still have a problem with the distinction.

PH you confuse the hell out of me. I really just can’t get a grasp of what your objection to leftist politics is. It’s a shitty, ignorant take to think anyone who criticizes the party from the left is prone to fascism anymore than centrists. You want to force everyone into this binary of dems=good and pubs=bad.
