I know they haven't been scheduling murderers row, but they lost anybody with any shred of talent to other teams during that time and had to start from scratch. Bill Clark is the absolute man. He busted his ass after they lost the team, getting out into the community, raising money and shedding light on how dirty the football politics in Alabama really were (and still are).

Good point. I had forgot they did that.
 
Currently, Colgate is 8-0 on the season, and have allowed 23 points all season, repeat all season. The Head Coach, Dan Hunt, is the former offensive coordinator, but the DC, Paul Shaffner, has improved the defense every year. Clawson is familiar with Patriot league football from his time at Fordham, and already has a former Patriot League assistant working for him. Shaffner may not be a young up and comer, but what he is doing at Colgate without any NFL prospects, is worth taking a look at.
