AP Poll Shows Many Women Support Judge Kavenaugh

“Up until now, the Democrats and their media punditocracy have pushed the ‘narrative’ that female voters are all in for the sex-attack testimony of Christine Blasey Ford against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, despite the latter’s lifetime spotless record, and Republicans who believe Kavanaugh are likely to pay by losing the Senate at midterms, owing to all the angry female voters who will vote against them.“

In the first major poll taken since the hearings, YouGov found that 44% of women believed that Ford was telling the truth, as opposed to 31% who thought that Kavanaugh was telling the truth. Among men, 38% thought that Ford was telling the truth, as opposed to 40% who believed Kavanaugh. The remaining percentages were labeled as undecided.

The article on the YouGov poll also had these words of warning for Republicans:

"However, there is some evidence that women and men reacted differently to Kavanaugh’s testimony beyond just partisanship. Both Republican and Democratic men were more likely to believe Kavanaugh than women of the same party. For instance, 78% of male Republicans thought Kavanaugh was telling the truth, compared to only 71% of female Republicans. Democrats were much less likely to believe Kavanaugh, but Democratic men were more likely to believe him than Democratic women (14% vs. 9%).

The pattern of reactions to Ford is different. There was no difference between either Democratic men and Democratic women or Republican men and Republican women in the percentage saying Ford was telling the truth. But we do see a greater tendency of men of both parties to say that Ford was lying. 69% of Republican men say Ford was not telling the truth, compared to 59% of Republican women. 11% of Democratic men say Ford was not telling the truth, compared to 8% of Democratic women. 27% of Republican women were unsure about the truthfulness of Ford’s testimony, suggesting some risk to Republican unity if additional evidence is uncovered next week.

The other problem for Republicans is that the hearings are more salient to #metoo voters. We asked respondents “Thinking about the 2018 midterms, how important will issues related to the Supreme Court be in deciding your vote?” 52% of those who believed Ford said that the Supreme Court will be a more important factor in how they vote, compared to only 44% of those who thought she was not telling the truth. This is an issue that motivates Democrats more than Republicans."

So Republican women generally believed the Republican but not as much as Republican men. Democrat women are more motivated. Who would have figured?

There's still a pretty clear edge for Ford, though. And, this is only the first poll that I've seen, and YouGov noted that their poll has been more favorable for Kavanaugh than some others.

"Many" women also support/supported ISIS.

I just took a poll and it said 100% of respondents think Lectro is a huge douche.
Note: poll only had a two sample size: me and lectro’s mom.

940% of women think Kavanaugh should be on the Supreme Court and be able to make laws for women for the rest of his life.

Women can be rubes too.

What narrative? I haven’t seen any narrative that Republican women are turning against the party especially not due to Kavanaugh. Don’t make up stuff so you can disagree with it.

Kavanaugh is doing well with non-college educated women. In other words, women who are not very bright. This is Lectro's group as well.

There are so many things wrong here. Let's start with the fact that it wasn't an AP poll and then move on to the fact that far more women believe Ford. What a bizarre thread title.
