Mitt is right. Weaponizing the IRS is something we should all be wary of. I'd rather a law be passed mandating the disclosure of all tax returns by elected officials.
Whether he should be required to release them or not, the fact that his supporters believed for 2 years that the only reason he wasn't showing them was because of an audit is just pathetic. It's obvious he was just lying through his teeth, and yet his cronies don't care.
This is why candidates release their tax returns, so basic transparency isn’t a partisan issue.

And Trump probably doesn't understand that he's probably just in a negotiation with the IRS over somecomplicated tax shit, rather than a full-blown audit. He's really that stupid.
