WF at Florida State - October 20 3:30 ESPN2

Passing 17/36, 152 yards 4.2 yards per pass
Rushing 20 rushes, 88 yards 4.4 yards per rush (not counting 2 sacks for 16 yards)

Hartman today is ungood, I can agree with that

Tom in at center, Claude in at WR, we are reaching deep into the roster.

And FSU has already crossed where the 4th down line of scrimmage was. Thank god you punted to get those 30 yards though, Dave.

Coach spent all his money on the earlier 4th and 8 when he decided to go for it, so he’s skittish when only one yard to go on 4th down. That’s another problem posed by going on for it with 8 yards to go when you’re leading by 10 against FSU!

Also, I don’t really like Scotty Washington. He seems lazy. Like he’s always going at half speed.

Other team's offenses see #24 on the field and that is where they are going with the ball.

Our skill players on offense are not getting at it; very average today in 2d qtr.

Clawson may be the last one to realize Hartman doesn't have it today if he ever does.

We passed ourselves out of the game when we could have been using a nice tempo running game. Now we have to pass and Hartman clearly doesn't have it.

Think this is right.

One of Clawson’s faults is he doesn’t veer from his system. With our injuries and the opponent, we should be running, picking up first downs and using some clock.

No we don't. We've got two other guys who can give us something else at QB. Hartman is not throwing a good ball today.

Hartman is the future and this season is already over. We can't win with absolutely zero defense, which is what we've got. As someone said our secondary is like a low level high school team. Just use this season to train Hartman. That's the best use of an otherwise futile situation.

At the half:

Running backs:
Colburn 11 att, 45 yards (4.1 yards per carry)
Carney 9 att, 43 yards (4.8 yards per carry)
Beal-Smith 1 att, 6 yards

Passing:
Hartman 18/40 159 yards (4.0 yards per pass)

Clawson and Ruggiero ignored the obvious all half. Just atrocious coaching on offense.

Why is Hartman the future?
