Official 2018-19 NBA Season Thread - NBA Finals Raptors Win #WeTheNorth

when are the blog boy Bill Simmons types who love to slander Westbrook’s MVP start applying the same logic to Harden and his awful rockets? This team sucks and is really tough to watch

12/20, 3/6 from 3 30 pts, 12 boards 5 assists 1 TO for Collins tonight. Has to be the best line of his career. Pretty silly highlight reel on ESPN if ya go to the box score.

80 pts in 95 min in the last 3 games.

Can you believe 3 years ago he only played 14 min a game?

Collins had his third straight career high in points. If you look at anything in this highlight, go to the 1:00 point. Collins plays good D on Jokic then comes back on the other end with a nice up and under dunk.

Good D from Collins? I thought he was somehow physically incapable of playing D.
Strange that Manning was unable to tap into that defense at Wake and just instructed Collins to get out of the way and avoid the foul.

Well at least RChill can’t claim Manning taught Collins how to play D and shoot the 3.

His move at the 1:40 mark looks brand new, never recall him exploding on a drive from the three point line before. If his Three is going he is the perfect pick and roll/pop big in today's NBA.

Sometimes it just takes a while to show up. Like after a little time working with a new coach, then what Manning taught him shows up.

The only thing Manning has done better than BZ was recruit our next allstar. Collins sure looks like an allstar caliber player.

He certainly looks like a double double guy once he consistently gets 30 min a game.

Actually he’s played around 30 min in each of the last 8 games and he’s averaging 20 and 10.

He’s averaging 18 and 8 now. He may get his average up to 20 and 10 by the time All-Star voting starts.

It’s pretty clear Manning didn’t teach him anything. He’s probably kicking himself for not going to Duke for a year to showcase his talents. Would have been a top 5 pick and a cinch for All-NBA this year if he hadn’t spent two whole seasons without a basketball coach.

Manning lucked into a future hall of famer and couldn’t even make the “real” NCAAT. Pathetic.

Those who don't think Manning helped JC, Dinos and Doral a great deal have no understanding of basketball. That's not saying Danny has done a passable job overall, but the idea that he didn't massively help those guys massively is either willful blindness or idiocy.

WOW. How much is the Manning family paying you?
